Terms of Service

VURN lets participants complete tasks ("campaigns") published by sponsors — brands, NGOs, government bodies, schools, and employers — and earn points for verified completion. Points can be redeemed for rewards such as mobile airtime and data, subject to availability. VURN is a platform connecting participants and sponsors; we are not the merchant, employer, or issuer of any product or service a campaign asks you to purchase, install, or interact with.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to claim additional rewards, referral bonuses, or campaign completions is prohibited and may result in point forfeiture and account suspension.
• You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Each campaign asks you to complete one or more steps — for example scanning a code, sharing your location, uploading a photo or receipt, answering a question, or confirming a one-time code. Steps are checked automatically where possible and reviewed by VURN staff or the sponsor where a human judgment is required. Submitting false, fabricated, or manipulated evidence (including reused receipts, screenshots, or images) is prohibited and will result in rejection of the submission and may result in account suspension.

We and our sponsors decide, in our reasonable discretion, whether a submission meets a campaign's requirements. A rejected submission may be corrected and resubmitted where the campaign allows retries; where it doesn't, the decision is final.

• Points have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, or transferred between accounts, except through the redemption options we make available.
• Redemptions (e.g. airtime, data, or other rewards) are fulfilled through third-party providers and are subject to their availability, processing times, and terms.
• We may reverse or forfeit points obtained through fraud, abuse of the referral program, or violation of these Terms.
• Unredeemed points may expire or be affected if your account is closed, in accordance with our then-current policy.

Sponsors are solely responsible for the content, requirements, and any product, service, or prize associated with their own campaigns. VURN reviews campaigns before they go live but does not guarantee, endorse, or warrant any sponsor's product, service, or claims. Disputes about a sponsor's product or service (for example, a faulty item purchased as part of a campaign) are between you and the sponsor.

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts, use emulators, rooted/jailbroken devices, or automation to complete campaigns.
• Submit false, stolen, reused, or manipulated evidence.
• Abuse the referral program (e.g. self-referral, fake accounts).
• Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We use automated and manual fraud checks (including device signals and duplicate- evidence detection) to enforce this section, and may suspend or terminate accounts and forfeit points where we reasonably believe it has been violated.

Sponsor wallet funding is processed by Paystack. Reward redemptions are fulfilled by third-party providers (for example, for airtime and data top-ups). We don't store your full card details — payment processors handle that directly, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VURN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including delays or failures in third-party redemption fulfillment, or any sponsor's product or service.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or as required by law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be highlighted in the app where practical. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
